Cool-headed, post-modernist  I have been teaching English and math for 7 years. The language learning process should involve three dimensions. First language: sense; another language. If one can't recognise what sense a word or language implies, it will be tough for one to translate or relate one language to another. We need to learn the sense of the word (mother language or language to learn) separately to learn any new one.
